I don't know why so many guitars have those bent metal string trees. These are so much better, great value, and a 5 minute job to fit.

I've bought a few guitar bits from Musiclily over the years and they've always been good quality bits of kit. These string trees are no exception. They are preferable to standard string trees on guitars with a tremolo arm as they put less strain on the strings when the trem is being used.Installing them was as easy as taking the old one off and putting the new one straight on. If your guitar has two trees (mine doesn't) there are two different heights in this set, with different length barrels and screws. The shorter being for the thinner strings and the taller for the middle two strings.

I picked out these barrel string trees to replace the vintage butterfly stamped trees that came stock on a Harley Benton Tele-style guitar. The build quality and finish on the Musiclily trees is good and installation was easy. I didn't need to re-drill the mounting holes - these screws fit perfectly in the existing holes from the previous trees. The string slot spacing and the standoff height was a perfect fit. This is a quick and easy upgrade. Highly recommended.

Decided to blackout my Squire Tele, and these fit nicely. Nice that multiple heights are included to match what you've got. And in addition to the colour change, these also are nicer quality than the originals, so win-win. Happy with the upgrade.

Another fine Musiclily product! These string retainers strike a perfect balance between the older style string hold downs and the roller type. They look nice, work well, and come with all required hardware. They're easy to install, just two screws and are absolutely an upgrade over the bent metal type. I like the fact that it comes with two so you can add a second one if your guitar only came with one hold down. I'm happy with them
