Why did you pick this product vs others?:Not really the correct color, but I lived with it for long enough, that I guess I got my money's worth. Would recommend just buying from Fender if you're picky like me. Holes mostly lined up from what I remember. Have since replaced it.

Inspect carefully for correct hole locations before using

I've bought these Str*t pickguards before without issues, but I just loaded one up yesterday and found the hole for the volume pot is so close to the bridge pickup cutout that the volume knob touches the height screw. No bueno! Unfortunately, I am beyond the return window, so it's going in the junk pile. My advice: if you buy one of these, make sure to look it over VERY CLOSELY before using it. Don't assume it's ok and leave it on the shelf too long like I did.

Perfect fit and color. Couldn't have worked out better.

The new pickguard fit perfectly. All holes lined up. My Strat has the truss adjustment nut on the body end of the guitar instead of at the headstock. So I had to grind a slot in the new pickguard to accommodate the nut. As shown in the photo, I used the original white pickguard as a pattern. Worked fine. The color matches very well. The quality and workmanship of the new pickguard couldn't be better.
