The knobs came two completely different shades of black. One is gun metal and the other is gloss black.

I really like these guitar dials however one of them arrived slightly deformed.The defect isn't noticeable at a glance, but the edge on the bottom of the dial is slightly uneven.After installation, it didn't really impact usage, but this may be a concern depending on how close the spacing of the knobs on your guitar are in relation to the body. Thankfully my Les Paul has a decent clearance between the edge of the dial and the body.
