For the price, they work well. But they are a little sticky which can make it hard to tune. But they hold tune well!

This particular model has tuning heads with knobs that are a bit on the small side. They seem, I don't know, a little overdesigned, a bit oversmoothed, and a little bit on the smallish side.That said, they work GREAT. They don't slip, bind or rattle, and they're better than the moderately crap ones that came mounted on my Fender Debut Strat.

Awkward feel, very inconsistent tuning, sloppy gears, 4 tuners work OK, the other two are sloppy (the only word Ican think of). One actually stopped working.. would skip and the string would slip drastically. I took it apart and and jiggled, slapped, and cursed at the gears put it back together and now it works.

These are holding up fine so far. The machining was fine and they do that they are designed for. The finish was smooth with no defects. I didn't give 5 stars because when I inspected them, gears were dry. Easy enough to rectify. I will be trying them again on my next project. I'd like to see how well their other finishes are done.

I originally purchased one set of these but I was so impressed by the ease of installing strings and by how it keeps tuning so well. I ended up getting 2 more sets and am going to purchase another now.I highly recommend theseP.S if you expect them to instantly hold tuning on new strings, just know that I have fender ones that are double the price that have the same issue… the problem isn’t the the tuners it’s that the strings need to be stretched and broken into first.
