Nice heavy knobs, made mostly of brass. They have knurled plastic inserts that slide over standard import (Alpha) size knurled split shafts and the fit is snug enough that you don't need to tighten the small nut (grub screw).The plating has a slightly cheap look and feel (to me), I was looking for more of an aged, relic'd look to match the raw nickel parts on my older guitar. I relic'd these by scrubbing and polishing at them with very fine sandpaper, a wire brush and Scotch Brite to scarify and remove some of that plating to expose small bits of the brass underneath, then I left them in a small covered Tupperware overnight sitting on a paper towel soaked with cider vinegar. In the places where you rub through the plating to the brass underneath it gets a nice dark green patina and also dulls and dissolves off some more of the plating. That gets rinsed off and a little more scrubbing with a small wire brush to even it out and viola, they look like they've been played every day for the past 10 years.

They have a great build quality but did not fit on my 1/4 in pots I had to drill out the holes just a tad bigger. It��s easy to do since the inside is made of plastic just be mindful if you do this since the set crews are not functioning.

These are almost perfect knobs. I say almost because they are a little finicky getting them on my Bourns pots and I needed to drill them out to fit. The set-screw keeps them in place so that's a bonus.Other than needing to drill these out to fit my pots, these are terrific!

Diese Chromknöpfe entsprechen genau meinen Erwartungen und dem bezahlten Preis. Sie sind funktional, leicht zu installieren, und die Chromoberfläche passt perfekt zur Chrombrücke auf meiner ESP. Während des Übens passe ich die Lautstärke- und Tonregler häufig an, und diese halten bombenfest. Kann ich definitiv jedem empfehlen, der eine ältere Gitarre restauriert. Wenn die Knöpfe jedoch für eine '59 Gibson Les Paul gedacht wären, würde ich etwas anderes kaufen und deutlich mehr Geld ausgeben.
