These tuners were an easy swap out for the broken ones on an old Squire guitar. I was also changing from nickel tuners to these black ones, but the ferrules are plastic and poorly made. There's no way I am putting plastic ferrules on any guitar, no matter how inexpensive it is. So I ended up with black tuners with the original nickel ferrules. Also, you may want to put a small dab of grease on the gears before you mount them - they come unlubricated. Don't expect these tuners to last very long, they are made of cheap, flimsy pot metal and won't stand up to any form of abuse.

Hmmm, extrem steif. Nicht besser als die alten, die ich zuvor drauf hatte. Der G-Stimmstab ist auch locker. Man bekommt halt, wofür man bezahlt. Die Gitarre bleibt jedoch gestimmt. Vielleicht lockern sie sich mit der Zeit. Vielleicht in hundert Jahren. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich eher mehr bezahlen. Nigel.
